Synqa. Canadian Team Enters Pre-Beta for PatchPal™ Mobile Application

Synqa., The Karlyle Group's technology consultancy, has entered the pre-beta phase for the PatchPal™ mobile application, developed by the venture's Canadian team based in Toronto, Ontario. PatchPal™ is a LiDAR-first infrastructure platform designed to help citizens and municipalities assess, report, and repair potholes with ease. The app features smart camera fallback scanning for devices without LiDAR, automated damage calculations to determine the number of repair boxes needed, and a built-in stockist locator to find authorized PatchPal™ retailers nearby. With a clean, intuitive interface and real-time scanning capabilities, the platform bridges the gap between everyday road users and municipal maintenance teams. A full public launch is planned for later this year.
