Karl Lee started his first company at fifteen and has been inside operating businesses ever since. Freight in Zimbabwe, where he ran a hundred-truck fleet for a group that also held steel, real estate and tobacco. Then stone and quarrying in South Africa, for a Swiss group.

He knew what a diversified holding company was from the floor of one, long before founding his own.
